Alec Rossel

Alec Rossel

​Alec Rossel came to L.A. in 2007 by way of Columbus, Ohio where he graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Film Studies and Production.

Alec's first feature film, Jack’s Habit, was distributed by Brentwood Home Video in 2005.  Alec wrote, produced, directed and starred in that film.  Alec then went on to create several award-winning short films and videos.  Alec also starred in the 2006 feature, Horrors Of War.  Since moving to Los Angeles, Alec has worked with Penny Marshall (Laverne), Colleen Camp (Apocalypse Now, Clue, Election), Argonaut Pictures (Welcome to the Rileys) and Rainstorm Entertainment (The Big Empty, F*ck).

Alec is currently in development on projects that include his original screenplay Served Cold, which will be directed by Daniel Zirilli, and his original screenplay The Shooting of Barry Miller which Alec will produce and direct with Notice of Filming Productions.
